Itinerary of Machhapuchhre Model trek:

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu,

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus in the morning,

Day 03: Drive to Milanchok & trek to Ghachok (1,254 m),

Day 04: Trek to Dhiprang (1,440 m),

Day 05: Trek to Chichemle Kharka (2,645 m),

Day 06: Trek to Lalka (2,250 m),

Day 07: Trek to Ribhan (1,430 m),

Day 08: Trek to Lachok (1160 m),

Day 09:  Trek to Milanchok and drive back to Pokhara,

Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu- 25 Minute drive to Hotel

When you are here in Kathmandu TIA Airport we will provide you a private Car/Jeep to pick up you through our airport representative then drop you at your hotel, it is only a 25-minute drive to reach your hotel from the Airport. When you check in to the hotel our tour leader will give you some essential information about your trip, then you just be ready for the next, day to Pokhara.

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (850 m) – 7 Hrs Drive

We are taking an early tourist standard bus from Sorakhutte, which is just a 5-minute walk in the west of Thamel. The bus ride will be just scenic and picturesque while driving to Pokhara. It is about a 200 km drive to the west along the Trisuli river, many villages, and  Small cities. The bus will stop twice a time before we reach Pokhara for Breakfast (about 10 am) and Lunch (12:30 pm) About. Pokhara is a tourist city from where we got to see already many snow cap mountains and beautiful Phewa lake along the road of lakeside, however, once we reach there we can visit many interesting places such as Phewa lake, Gupteshow cave, Devi’s waterfall, World peace pagoda, Visit Sarangkot, Visit Barahi temple & Bindabasini temple so on. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 03: Drive from Pokhara to Milanchok & trek to Ghachok Village (1,254 m).

We take early, breakfast in the Pokhara Hotel then we take a car/jeep to Milanchowk. After passing Milanchowk there will be a lovely Suspension Bridge over Mardi River we then trek slowly towards Ghachok which is one of the beautiful villages where we can stay overnight with locals at Homestay.

Day 04: Trek from Ghachok to Dhiprang (1,440 m).

Today we start our trek in the morning after having local breakfast with local people, it is a short walking day, but the scenery during the walk will be just insane, green rolling hills, Snowcap mountains, traditional houses, and forest walk will be the major attractions which will be occupied throughout this model trek.

Day 05: Trek to Chichemle Kharka (2,645 m).

We are going to Chichemlakharka today through the beautiful Rhododendron forest, Dotted Villages, and unbelievable rare Flora and Faunas.  It is about a 5 to 6-hour walk, but with each and every step towards Chichemlekharka you will enjoy a peaceful walking path and tranquil nature. Today, after reaching Chichemlakharka we will stay with local people in their homes.

Day 06: Trek to Lalka (2,250 m).

Today is an even more exciting day that we will be visiting Lalka Village where we will spend one night. It is the best place to explore the stunning mountain view Especially Mt. Annapurna south (7219 m), Huchuli (6441 m), and Mt. Fishtail (6993 m).

Day 07: Trek to Ribhan (1,430 m).

As usual, after breakfast, we start our trek. It is an easy day, but still many things we will see while we are on the walk down to Ribhan. It is about 5 hours to walk on a proper trekking route and still, we will have a magical mountain view in the backdrop of Ribhan, If we are lucky till sunset time, we can see the magnificent sunset view over Massif Mountains.

Day 08: Trek to Lachok (1160 m).

We begin our day following the small trekking path going downhill to Lack. It is a culturally and traditionally beautiful village where we can explore real life and the wonderful view of Sunset view over the Himalayas in a distance.

Day 09:  Trek to Milanchok and drive to Pokhara.

It is an easy to short walking day down to Milanchowk then we take a vehicle from there to Pokhara. Today we are leaving mountain paths and reach Pokhara where we will explore the evening Citywalk around the lake and probably eat proper meals after a few, days of mountain foods, it’s great to taste city food.

Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu

We will take an early, bus at 7 am then drive to Kathmandu via the same way we took way to Pokhara. It is about 8 hours drive.
