Entering into the massif Annapurna conservation area on a fantastic Annapurna circuit trek takes us to the adventure high pass Thorong La (5416 m/17,769 ft) World deepest gorge Dana, arid cliffs, and Muktinath- it is one of the popular pilgrim sites in Nepal.
On this stunning trip, you get an immense opportunity to observe the exotic scenery, unique local culture, and verdant forest. Furthermore, this trek also leads us from lower an alleviation of the subtropical forest to the pine forest in the high Himalayan terrain within a few days hike.
Annapurna circuit trek starts after the Kathmandu city tour, taking a bus to Beshi Sahar. It is quite a long drive through the bus is scenic and picturesque driving along Trisuli and Marsyangdi River.
After your few days walking from Besi Sahar, the legendary route of Annapurna circuit takes us to the world’s famous mountain pass- the Thorong la, As it is a heavenly made viewing spot and so many mountains come into view. The view of massif Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna panorama, Mt. Manaslu, Tilicho peak, Nilgiri, and many other eye-catching snow cap peaks are easily seen from the top of the Thorang la top.
From the Thorong La pass, the trail drops down to Muktinath for a couple of hours, but still, you have a wonderful pristine mountain view and widespread Budi Gandaki valley view. Muktinath is a popular cultural site, especially Hindu pilgrims who use to go to Muktinath and they believe that having a shower from 108 taps from Muktinath temple will clean their previous sins and a new day starts ahead.
Trekking from Muktinath the next is Jomsom along the bank of Kali Gandaki river, then follow the wide rocky road to Marfa village- it is a unique and cultural village of Thakali people with lots of small houses, narrow paths, and apple orchards.
Moreover, you follow the wide and dusty flat off-road until reaching Kalopani and Lete, then gradually down to Tatopani- a popular hot spring to bath after many days hiking in the Himalaya.
The next day, the route of the trek goes steep up to Ghorepani located on the top of the hill at 2,820 meters. It is the most visited short trek in Nepal. We spent a night there at the lodge and explore a popular sunrise spot Poon hill then descending all the way down to Nayapul, it is where we end the trip then 1:30-minute drive to Pokhara.
It is a long trek of approximately 2 weeks with an average 4 to 7 hours walk a day and is highly recommended for adventure physically well-fit hikers.

Day 07 – Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110 m): 3 – 4 hours walk,
Day 08 – Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,600 m): 3 – 4 hours,
Day 09 – Trek from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3,800 m) via Thorong La Pass (5,416 m): 7 – 8 hours,

Day 01 – Arrive in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival, we will manage to pick up service from TIA airport Kathmandu to your Hotel. When you enter the hotel we let you rest until the evening then take you to the local restaurant and talk about trekking. You go to stay in Kathmandu Hotel.
Day 02 – Drive from Kathmandu to Dharapani (1,960 m): 11 hours Drive
We are taking a bus early in the morning from Kathmandu to Dharapani. It is a long drive but you get to see Natural scenes, including colorful villages, valleys, and off-road driving experiences. After passing all of these beauties of nature and culture we reach Dharapani. We stay one night in the lodge at Dharapani.
Day 03 – Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2,635 m): 5 hours walk
From Dharapani we start our trekking journey after breakfast. We trek on the popular trail, ascends through the forest of fir and riverside trail. Furthermore, we continue our walk to the higher up into the maple and oak trees and local houses including mesmerizing Annapurna Mountain View. Our 4 to 5 hours journey throughout nature and valley we reach Chame. It is where we go to stay one night in the lodge.
Day 04 –Trek from Chame to Pisang (3,300 m): 5 hours walk
We begin our trek after breakfast at the lodge of Chame. The trekking route from here takes you to the higher elevation into the natural woodlands and the stunning view of the Pisang peak and Annapurna range. The landscapes, while you are trekking today to Pisang, are just indescribable and virgin. It is our pleasant walking journey passing so many beautiful scenery and countryside walking experiences. Our 5 hours walking journey takes you to the Pisang village, where we spent a night.
Day 05 – Trek from Pisang to Manang (3,570 m): 4 hours walk
We follow the upper trekking path from the Pisang and trek up to Manang valley. We are taking a gradual uphill route and enjoy the magnificent views of natural scenery and various natural diversities. Following the route onwards to Manang provides you many opportunities to get up close with verdant forest, heavenly made landscapes, Rivers, Valley, and Popular high Mountains.
Once our route takes us to Manang, there are so many traditions of Tibetan and Buddhist culture to see and enjoy include 100 years old Gompa, as it is also the largest Gompa of Manang district.
Day 06 – Acclimatization day at Manang
Today is a resting day and at the same time, you are Acclimatize with those environments and elevation. Today also you are staying overnight at Manang. After breakfast, you can walk around Manang and old Monasteries and the next beauties, to introduce with local people.
The next if you are fit and an adventure hiker then you can visit the serene Gangapurna Lake and imagine Glacier.
Day 07 – Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110 m): 3 – 4 hours walk
We take our early breakfast we trek continue across stunning landscapes and the Stream than climbing up to Tenki. It is a popular Limbu cultural village than follow the route to the Northwest Valley of Marsyagdi than to Jarsang Khola.
Today the trekking route to Yakkharka after then will be peaceful and much vegetation. We trek continue onwards North valley passing yak grazing, lush pastures, wilderness than we reach to Ghunsa. It is a beautiful small village than trails leads us to the meadows filled with horses than next with the short walk we reach Yak Kharka.
Day 08 – Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,600 m): 3 – 4 hours
Today we are walking relatively a short walk for about 3 hours. Today we are heading up to Thorong Phedi and stay there overnight. It is a small village, but bustling residency of locals. It is an easy and pleasant day passing through the wonderful landscapes and stunning Annapurna mountain range. Some trekkers if they are an adventure and no risk of altitude they trek on continue to high camp.
Day 09 – Trek from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3,800 m) via Thorong La Pass (5,416 m): 7 – 8 hours
Today we will make an early start because of the relatively longer walking days passing the high pass and higher altitude. Our journey today starts from Thorong Phedi through the steep and rocky path, then after reaching higher elevation we trek on the melted snow than reach Thorong la pass- 5416 m. The ridge of Thorong la offers an incredibly high mountain panorama in a range of Tibet in the northwards. After the breathtaking beauties of World popular mountain view than we descend steeply to Muktinath, as is a popular pilgrim site in Nepal for Buddhist and Hindu people.
After your most difficult pass Thorong la you can enjoy your time around Muktinath as they offer some local inns and bars for you wonderful evening.
Day 10 – Drive to Pokhara, Duration: 10-11 hours
It is our long driving journey all the way from Muktinath to Pokhara. It is a long journey, but you can still enjoy the valley view of Kali Gandaki, Marfa village, Tatopani than to Pokhara via Baglung and Beni. After your long journey, you can spend your stunning evening with the entire trekking group with you have been trekking for 9 days and, farewell dinner.
Day 11 – Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu: 6-7 hour drive
We will get an early bus from Pokhara to Kathmandu today. It is 7 hours journey on a dirt road along the Trisuli river and local houses along the road. The bus lets you eat and to use bathroom stops twice the time than reach Kathmandu.
Day 12 – Farewell day from Nepal
We will provide you farewell, drop service before 3 hours of your scheduled flight, then fly to your next destination. Hope you had a great trip with us and hope your next visit for another adventure hike.
