The Sarangkot hiking is for 2 nights 3 days so our one night we will spend in a tea house at Australian Camp where you are surrounded by so many snow cap peaks than in our 2nd day we will spend the night at Sarangkot which is a popular spot for the sunrise view so in the morning before we head down to Pokhara we will have an admirable Sunrise view over Annapurna & Dhaulagiri Mountain range.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu,
Day 02: Fly to Pokhara than explore Lakeside along the Lake,
Day 03: Hike from Khahare to Sarangkot. overnight at Sarangkot,
Day 04: Visit sunrise viewpoint early morning then hike down to Pokhara,
Day 05: Drive to Kathmandu In the morning,
Day 06: Final Departure.
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan international airport in Kathmandu, our airport representative will pick us up & Transfer to the Hotel. Our tour leader will meet you in the afternoon for trip information and preparation therefore during this discussion if you have any confusion about your trip you can ask your tour leader or manager. After breakfast we fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu airport it is about a 30-minute flight over the beautiful mountains and paradise snow Cap Mountains on the right side. Once we reach Pokhara we take a taxi from the airport to the hotel which is about 10-minute short drive, we then rest for a few hours after that we then walk around the lake and beautiful lakeside area. We begin our day in the morning after having breakfast at our hotel in Pokhara. We walk 20 minutes along the lake, then we find a small trekking route going up to Sarangkot. The trekking path will be quite steep through the village and small forest, but it will be just a wonderful experience and paradise valley view in the background. You can wear just half of the paint and a thin t-short as it is very hot while you are climbing the Sarangkot hill. Your 3 hours walking takes you to the top of Sanrangkot hill where you will stay the overnight and enjoy the stunning lighting Pokhara city in the evening.
Today is a very early day that we have too weak up at 5 am to see the magical sunrise view as we have to walk 5 minutes uphill from the hotel for sunrise. Once you reach the sunrise hilltop you will have just indescribable views including Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Annapurna south fishtail, and many other snow peaks. We go back to the hotel after that wonderful morning then we go back to Pokhara by taxi, which is about 30 to 40 min drive that means we will be in Pokhara quite early so the rest of us go for Pokhara valley sightseeing. We will take an early bus from Rastra bank Chok, near Damside then we go back to Kathmandu. It is about 7 hours drive and 200 km in distance. Overnight in Kathmandu hotel.
We will provide you a private vehicle on your time to the Airport. We will drop you very safely to the airport 3 hours before you fly.

Sarangkot is a popular and most visited sunrise a spot located on the northern hill of Pokhara. It is 10 km from the center of Pokhara which will take about 35 minutes as it is a small zigzag trail. Sarangkot is also a short hiking route near Pokhara especially those who don’t have much time to go upper parts of the trekking region for those people it is suitably taken only a few hours hike to get on top of Sarangkot. There are quite some options to go to Sarangkot mainly the popular hiking starts from Khahare Lakeside than continue to follow the uphill small walking route through some local villages and small tropical forests. The 2nd option that you can get a taxi/car from Pokhara to Sarangkot straight.
Sarangkot is a Beautiful Place to observe the views of the whole Pokhara valley, lake, Stupa, and towering mountains. If you are hiking to Sarangkot you don’t need any permit or documentation you only need to pay the entrance fee just near the top of Sarangkot viewpoint. The entrance fee of Sarangkot is only 1 Which is 100 Nepalese rupee till this date.

Sarangkot hill is a short hiking spot near Pokhara and it is only 2 days hike or if you are quite fit and able to walk 6 to 7 hours than one day will be enough to go and back from Pokhara, Hence you just need to carry very small bag pack with your essential clothes such as half paint, cap, Sun cream, Sunglass, Bottle of water, Camera, normal Jacket, pair of T-shirt that’s all you need for Sarangkot hiking.
