Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m)

When you are in Kathmandu airport after you got your visa or your essential process in the airport you have to go outside to check your name because there will be many people with their own client’s name on the signboard or on white paper, so I will be there with your name which is easy to catch you and I will drop you to your hotel and give you some basic information about local environments around here and trek preparation.

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi (1600m).- 6 hrs

We will take an early bus or private transport in the morning which is better because the road is quite small to go Syabru Besi and sometimes there is a traffic problem on the way if we are late so it is better to leave morning. It is about 6 hours northeast drive through the village, forest, and over the bridges, this is why it is the best scenic driving. Syabru Besi is a beautiful Tamang village located on the side of the River; we will stay overnight there.

Day 03: Trek from Syabru Besi (1600m) to Lama Hotel (2470m) – 5.30 Hrs

We will take an early breakfast at the lodge and we begin to walk. In the first part of the day, we will cross the Bhote Koshi River and follow the small damp trail along the Langtang Khola. The walking route then gradually ascends up to Bamboo through some landslide area; it is where we should walk carefully and in a group. After that, we have to walk gently and gradually down to Rimche (2390m) than Lama hotel, which is located at the Side of Langtang Khola (stream). While you are walking in this part you may see some wild and rare animals such as Red Panda, Monkey, bears, etc. we will stay one night in Lama Hotel Teahouse.

Day 04: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3430m)- 6hrs

We will take an early Breakfast then we will follow the small trail going up to Godatabela through the towering trees and Langtang Khola. During our walking, till Goda Tabela (3000m) we can see wonderful Glimpses of Langtang Lirung Mountain, Langtang valley, and many other mountains around.

The trail continues ascending and widens, passing some temporary Small house which is being used by Herders who bring their livestock to graze in the high pastures during monsoon (June, July, and Aug). We will pass some monastery and buddies’ prayer flags before we reach Langtang Village. It is a beautiful flat area surrounded by stone walls. Overnight stay at Langtang.

Day 05: Trek from Langtang Village to Kyangjin Gompa (3870m) -3hrs

Today the walking route will be gradually up through the small village and yak pastures as the Langtang valley opens out further. The views will be really stunning while you are walking today as it is an open area surrounded by mountains. We will pass a few moraines and streams into the valley then we reach a small beautiful area Kyangin. It is just 3 hour walking to Kyangjin than we will walk around after we get our rooms in the hotel. There are government cheese factories and magnificent views of Dorje Lakapa (6990m), Langtang Ri (6370m), Langtang Lirung (7245m), and many other small mountains. We will stay in Ktangjin for one night.

Day 06: Rest day at Kyangjin Gompa.

It is our excursion day around Kyangjin Gompa where we can visit the Yak cheese factory, Tumbling Glacier, unbelievable ice faces of the mountain if you still love to explore better views you can go up to Kyangjin Ri (4350m). we will stay overnight at Kyangjin Gompa.

Day 07: Trek from Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel- 6 Hrs

We will take our breakfast in the lodge and then retrace the walking route following the Langtang Khola To Langtang village. After passing these villages we will reach easily Ghoda Tabela where we will stop for lunch and then follow the same trail back to Lama Hotel. Overnight stay in Lama Hotel.

Day 08: Trek from Lama Hotel (2470m) to Thulo Syabru (2260 m)-5 hrs

After breakfast at the hotel, we start to walk for the day which is gentle uphill walking to the landslide area. After passing this landslide area we have to go steeply up to Thulo Syabru. On this day we might see some wild animals so it is better to leave as early as you can.

Day 09: Trek from Thulo Syabru to Sing Gompa or Chandan Bari (3330m)- 5 to 6 hrs

Today we have to walk the mostly steep walk. In the first part of today, we will follow the small steep walk to Foprang Danda, which is situated at 3200m similarly the trail is continuously steep to Dursagang (2660m). it is the best place to see so many high mountains area such as Langtang Himal, Ganesh Himal, and Tibetan mountains as well as scenic views of the oak forest. After that, we will still need to go up for short time then a bit of flat to reach Sing Gompa. Stay overnight Sing Gompa.

Day 10: Trek from Sing Gompa to Gosaikunda (4460m) via Lauribinayak La (3920m)- 6 hrs walk

In the beginning, we will follow the small rugged walking route. While you are walking before the ridge we can see a mountain panorama and also some huts in the high pastures of Lauribinayak than continue we will walk and cross the ridge. After crossing the small ridge we will see the Holi lake Gosaikunda and many other small lakes around. Gosaikunda is a holy lake where so many local people used to go each year. Overnight at Gosaikunda.

Day 11: Trek from Gosainkunda to Lauribinayak Pass (4610m) to Ghopte (3430m)

The first walking trail today will be ascending but we can have the best views of so many mountains and valleys till Lauribinak pass than we descend to Ghopte village. Before we reach Ghopte we will walk along the 4 beautiful lakes and huts. Overnight at Ghopte.

Day 12: Trek from Ghopte to Kutumsang (2446m)- 5hrs walking

After we leave Ghopte we have to ascend through the forest of Oak, Bamboo, and Rhododendrons. When we reach Tharepati the walking trail gradually descends again through the pine forest to Kutumsang, it is a very scenic Tamang residency area. the view of Helambu valley, Number, and Jugal Himal will be just unbelievable pictorials. Overnight at Kutumsang.

Day 13: Trek from Kutumsang to Chisopani(2150m)-6 hrs walking

After breakfast at the lodge, we begin to walk for the day. It is another beautiful day. mostly we have to walk downhill through the forest and farming land of the Tamang people. The trails descend till Gul Bhanjyang then beyond Gul Bhanjang we walk up to the ridge with magnificent views. after that, we descend to Pati Bhanjang where we can see a wide area of Tamnag residency and a police check post, then next about 2 hrs walking to Chapin. It is where we will spend a night in the lodge.

Day 14: Trek from Chisopani to Sundarijal- 3 hrs walk

It is an easy walking day and also it is our last day to walk in the mountain and pass mountain life. we will follow the easy small trail through the forest first 2 hours till Mulkharka which is also a big village then continue the downhill walk to Sundarijal which is a corner of Kathmandu city then we take a transport to go back to our hotel. it is about 3 hrs all descending and a 30-minute drive to reach our Kathmandu hotel.

Can I get a visa when I reach Kathmandu TIA airport?

It is very easy to get a visa when you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport. Besides a few countries, most people from all different countries can get a visa. If you are staying in Nepal for 15 days you have to pay 25$ and a month’s stay cost 30$ and cost 100$ for 90 Days tourist visa. Don’t forget to get 2 passport-size photographs with you for a visa.

What season is the best month to visit Nepal?
We have so many different areas for trekking and tour where still we trek in monsoon and winter but the best season is spring and Autumn.

Can a trek in Nepal?

Here we have so many different trekking route and tours, which is categorized into a little option such as easy, moderate, adventure and challenging. So, if you are not that fit you can trek to 3000 m takes 5 days, similarly, 3000 to 4000 m high altitude trekking can be good for simply fit visitors, and more than high path trek you need some training and need to fit. On request, we can customize the trekking itinerary but in general, we have to walk about 3 hours to 6 hours a day.

What kind of accommodation will I get on the mountain?

The accommodations in the mountain are very good than you are expecting now because nowadays there so many new modern buildings if you are doing a lower loop trek below 3000m, but if you trek over 3000m high are you will get a clean and net private room which his made by wood in general and also in a lower loop area trek you can get bathroom inside your private room but trekking over 3000m high you can’t get the bathroom in your private room. Hardly may you find some places in this case.

What sort of path are we going to walk in the mountain?

It depends on what area you are trekking but in general Annapurna, and Langtang has similar landscapes and trails which is stone made steep, and green around walking path but in the case of Everest and the upper Mustang area, the trails are dusty, dry sand and very few trees around. If there are steps on the trail that helps you to walk better.

What kind of food can I have during the trek?

While you are in Kathmandu and Pokhara obviously you can have all kinds of food a choice but during your trek in the mountain you can get, Pasta, Momo (dumpling food), Rice, pancakes, Apple pie, and Nepali foods. But in general, every tea house has a menu and they serve you western foods, Nepali foods, continental and Indian food. Just to tell you that only if you are trekking in a newly opened area trek or really high area you might not get all kinds of food so we should ask what they have some time in high season.

Is it compulsory to have a guide in Nepal?

Actually having a guide with you is not compulsory till now as we go through the rules of the Nepal tourism board but there are so many biodiversities, cultures, traditions, and localities so your trip will be meaningful if you have a guide and especially the route where you going to walk you need guidance and at risky area also you need guide besides that to gain about the fact of Nepal, Rural life, culture, traditions, and Himalaya you need guide otherwise you just walk and it is kind of your exercise, so hiring a guide or porter is not only your safety and information source there will be your contribution for the local economy and help local people.

Is trekking safe in Nepal?

Yes, Nepal is safe to travel to since 2006 especially because the Nepal government and revels sighed for peace agreement then they are in parliaments together which means there are no obstacles either in the city or mountains. Even after the earthquake, it was a common question from all different visitors but now everything is normal and recovered since last year so if you are dreaming to explore the high-range Himalayas Please don’t hesitate just book your trip to Nepal.

Is there any Mobile signal or wifi service during the trekking of the mountain?

Yes, you can get a phone signal and service most of the popular trekking such as Everest, Annapurna, and Langtang. For a few years, you can also use internet service (wifi) in some lodges but need to pay.

What are the essential things to carry during the trek?

Our porter will carry your big bags and your extra weights too what you have to carry is just your personal day bag with a bottle of water, fleece jacket, warm hat, gloves, sun cream, some medicine, and windproof jacket and windproof pant. Generally, you have to reduce the extra weight of your bags that you can leave in the Kathmandu hotel as you get one porter for two trekkers you are allowed to have 12 kg each which means porters need to carry 24 kg in total.

What do I need to do if I get mountain sickness?

You suppose to have your insurance in general when you are traveling and especially in the case of high-area trekking. We will have some first aid medicine with us and give you some tips too on what is best to do when you have a sickness but some time might not work so in that case we have to go down and still if you are the same and nothing improved we arrange emergency chopper service through your insurance then you will transfer to the hospital where ever closer to the mountain than after an hour you will be fine. We have a good train guide and he knows what should be done when our clients get sick so he will give you useful information and help you follow him.

What kind of medicine can I take with me?

Generally, our guide will take mountain-related medicine but besides that, you can take it with you too because when we have a big group you might not be close by from your guide so each trekker needs to carry their first aid medicine with them. Diomax is a common medicine for altitude sickness.
