Tourist Visa facility

  • Multiple entry visa for 15 days: US$ 25 or Equivalent Convertible Currency
  • Multiple entry visa for 30 days: US $ 40 or Equivalent convertible Currency
  • Multiple entry visa for 90 days: US$ 100 or Equivalent convertible Currency

Free visa

  • In one visa year from January – December for 30 days, if a visitor comes from Pakistan, Maldives, Bhutan, Bangladesh & Sri-Lanka. If visitors want to extend the visa above 30 days then it cost money.
  • The Indian people do not need a visa for the Nepal trips.

Nepal visa for Chinese Tourist (Nationals)

If you are a Chinese tourist planning to visit Nepal, you might be eligible for a free visa. The Nepali government started providing free tourist visas to Chinese citizens from January 6, 2016. This move aims to promote tourism and strengthen the relationship between the two countries.

If you are a Chinese citizen, you can apply for a free visa at one of the following Nepali missions in the People’s Republic of China:

  • Consulate General of Nepal – Lhasa

  • Cameroon
  • Swaziland
  • Ethiopia
  • Liberia
  • Somalia
  • Zimbabwe
  • Ghana
  • Nigeria

If you are a foreigner and need to renew your passport while in Nepal, you will need to contact your embassy or consulate to obtain a new passport.
