On Day 2, you will embark on a tour of Kathmandu, a bustling metropolis with a rich cultural and religious heritage. Your guide will lead you on a journey through the Kathmandu Valley, visiting iconic landmarks such as the Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Temple (also known as the Monkey Temple), and Pashupatinath Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After taking in the stunning views from Poon Hill, you will return to Ghorepani for breakfast and then continue on the trek to Tadapani, which is located at an altitude of 2650m.
The trail is expected to take around 5-6 hours, with a total ascent of 350 meters and a total descent of 550 meters including the Poon Hill hike.
Tadapani is the next stop for the night.

On Day 8, after having breakfast, you will retrace your steps back to Nayapul through Syaulibazar and Birethanti.
