What kind of food can i have in Nepal?

There are many restaurant in Nepal as per your interest either local typical restaurant or western style restaurant all type of foods you can get in Kathmandu. Even you can try KFC Which is located in Durbar marg. Especially if you visit Thamel area you can have easily Nepali authentic food, continental food, western, Indian , Thai almost all type of food you can have within a small area boundary which is Thamel.

What kind of trekking equipment do I need to bring?

You can bring your equipment from your own country if you have already otherwise you can buy or rest in Nepal which is much cheaper than your country as well as you don’t have to carry all the why where ever you travel so try to bring what is just essential.

  • Rucksack, day bag, camel bag,

What kind of accommodation do I get during the trek?

During your trip in the mountain in Nepal you will get twin sharing bed room privately and most of the tea house have a comfortable bed, pillow and hot water for shower but the shower room will be sharing with all guest who ever staying in the lodge.

How much does it cost for Everest base camp trek.

Everest base camp trekking is a popular trekking destination in Nepal takes 12 days from Kathmandu go and back including both way flight to Lukla. Generally it takes 12 days and it cost 1150 USD per person which includes the both way flight, porter, guide, their all expenses, permit, grounded transport, 3 night hotel in Kathmandu. Airport picks up and drops.

How much for Annapurna base camp trek?

Nepal is safe to travel?

Nepal is a safe and country of friendly people and Himalaya. About 10 years ago there was civil war and was not safe to travel Nepal especially to the mountain area but when they made a peace agreement in 2005 than from 2006 all problems regarding civil war was solved so since than there is such a peaceful environment where ever you travel.

People of Nepal in general really friendly and warm welcoming where ever you go. They have their respectful Culture, Traditions, and generous hospitality so make your plan to travel in Nepal, where you will experience so many localities within a 10 days holiday.

Where is best area in Kathmandu to stay?

Kathmandu city is quite big city of Nepal about 668sq km. Kathmandu is situated in the valley at 1350 meter high from sea level. There are few popular other small city called Bhaktapur Lalitpur but they are not around the center of Kathmandu, so if you are going to Nepal for first time you can stay at center of Kathmandu around Thamel which is small area but there are so many choices of hotel up to your budget from 5 USD up to 200 USD a night. There are so many restaurant, cafe, ATMS, bank, all you need basically you will get them at Thamel area so I suggest you to stay at Thamel, or Lazimpat or Durbar Marg ( area of star hotels).

Can I have western food in Kathmandu or Pokhara?

Yes for sure you can taste so many different foods in Nepal such as continental, Indian, western, Japanese, Thai, Nepali, Tibetan, Chinese so no so you can have all kind of foods in Kathmandu and Pokhara.
If you are going to Nepal for a hike or trek you don’t have to be worry about food there are many verities which is on menu they serve you from every tea house.

Where is the best trekking route in Nepal?

There are several popular region to trek in Nepal for example everest region, Annapurna region, langtang region and manaslu region beside that also there are so many trekking routes but these are the best and safe area to experience the Art, Culture, Customs and countryside life of Nepali people. Everest trekking is the best because it takes only 11 to 12 days from Kathmandu go and back but we should take plane both way. Everest base camp trekking is a mild stone for every trekkers who respect the culture, inspire with Nature. this trek starts from Kathmandu and end in Kathmandu which is 12 days but you will get to see world’s highest peak(Mt. Everest), Lotse, Choyo, Makalu which is over 8000 m high mountains. Can I trust local guide and porter?

There are many kind people and their nature but in general people from Nepal are friendly and helpful similarly Guides and porters are friendly too, but it is important to know that he is train license holder guide or not is porter done any trek before or not because if you have any problem during the trek you can claim about them if they have license or any related certificate so before you trek you should ask with them about those documents.

If you find local guide with license he is authorized person to guide from Nepal government so you can trust him easily and also in the case of porter if he have done the trip already than trust him he will be safe with altitude sickness.
